Ganja la Pass trekking is one another attraction in the Langtang region and it is the one of the Adventure pass in the Whole Langtang region as well. Trekking in Langtang valley and Ganja La which is located north of Kathmandu offers a multitude of trekking destinations. Langtang is a narrow valley that lies just below the main Himalayan range to the north Tibet Border and a slightly lower range of snowy peaks to the south. A visit to the Langtang valley offers an opportunity to explore Tibetan villages, Tamang villages, to climb small peaks and to visit glaciers at comfortably low elevations. Kyanjin Gompa is a last Tibetan village in the valley, from where a trek starts to Helambu over Ganja La Pass (5200M). The pass itself is not easy, during autumn and spring the pass opens for trekkers.
Ganjala Pass trek starts from Sybru Bensi, ends at Melamchi Pul Bazar. From Sybru Bensi, you will follow the Langtang River to the east until you get to Kyanching Gompa (3,049.). Some 5 km to the south of Kyanching Gompa are the peaks of Naya Kanga (5,846m) and , to the south east, Ponggen Dopku (5,930m). Kyanching Gompa is surrounded by Mt Langtang Lirung (7245m ) on the west, Yala peak on the north , Dorje Lakpa(6966m), Urkeinmang(6387m), Loenpo Gang (6979) and Kangchenpo on the north-east. In Kyanjing Gompa there are a small Buddhist monastary and a cheese factory started in 1955 by the Swiss Association for Technical Assistance. When you are crossing the pass there are spectacular views of Langtang Lirung and the Tibetan peaks beyond. Much of this route is spent above 3,000m (10,000ft) .The highest point of this trek is Ganjala Pass (5,122m).
Trekking over Ganja la pass offers an entirely wilderness and adventure experience. If you are trekking during spring the forest on the trail is colorful and blooming full of Rhododendrons. To cross from Langtang into Helambu via the Ganja-La pass which is serious undertaking requiring good equipment and experience from local guides. Langtang region has so far remained one of the attractive trekking corners in Nepal. Once we make a trip in langtang area, we descend from the pass is on a steep slope for over 1 km, only camping trekking is possible for the area, After passing the Ganja la Pass, the trail takes us to Malamchi village and Tarke Ghyang, where people follow the Buddhist religion so we will find many old Buddhist monasteries in the villages and trekking trail goes continue descend to Melamchi Pul bazaar than by vehicle we return to Kathmandu. If you need more information about ganja la pass trek fell free to contact us.

Commencing with a flight to Tumlingtar to the East of Everest, the first week is spent trekking through virgin territory into the Solu Khumbu region. The sub-tropical valley floor of the mighty Arun River is in places densely forested, contrasting with the terraced slopes higher up, which are framed by villagers of diverse tribal groups. Tsum Valley is a sacred Himalayan pilgrimage valley situated in a trans-Himalayan region of Gorkha, Nepal. The Tsum Valley’s acquaintance with Tibet, natural beauty and its pristine culture make this trekking unique. Tsum comes from the Tibetan work ‘Tsombo’, which means vivid. Against the majestic backdrop of the Ganesh Himal, Sringi Himal and Baudha Himal ranges, this serene Himalayan valley is rich in ancient art, culture, and religion. The local people are mostly of Tibetan origin and seek a unique dialect. Trails are strewn with artistic chortens and lined with mani walls made of thousands of stone slabs carved with deities and prayers. The Tsum valley trek has a long history of Buddhism. The Buddhist saint Milarepa is believed to have meditated in the caves of their mountains.
Traditionally Tsum valley was a culturally distinct geographical area called ‘Tsum Tso Chuksum’, which means thirteen provinces ruled as a single territory. Tsum valley is beautiful yet untouched by any trekkers. Mountains, Culture and Tradition, Landscape and adventure is what specify this trekking area. Crossing through beautiful villages, entering into restricted area with special permit takes you to the heart of cultural and traditional hub, where you will see the real and true image of ancient habitat is untouched by outer world.
The ancient remains of the Tsum Kingdom are still visible today. Due to its remoteness and inaccessibility, this sacred valley and its people have been bypassed by mainstream development for centuries. People in Tsum Valley still practice polyandry system and they have their own unique culture, tradition and dialect. They celebrate unique festival like Lhosar, Dhacyhang, Saka Dawa, Faning and others. This trek begins from Arughat in Gorkha district, which is easily accessible from Kathmandu.
